The mission of Deschutes Children's Foundation is to promote a community of services for the children and families of Deschutes County. Our primary strategy for pursuing this mission is to provide rent-free facilities and no-cost property management for human service programs that serve children and families directly. This puts critical dollars to work for children and families. Close collaboration between programs selected for campus residency fosters efficient, effective, and accessible services

Central Oregon Showcase is an educational and performing barbershop chorus, a non-profit organization and a member of Sweet Adelines International. Formed and chartered in the 1970s, our membership consists of women from Prineville, Redmond, Powell Butte and Bend who simply love to learn, teach and sing barbershop harmony.

The Deschutes Brewery Sagebrush Classic began in 1989 as a golf tournament for Deschutes Brewery pub clientele and expanded in 1994 to include a stellar Feast showcasing the culinary artistry of world-class national and international chefs. The event has since evolved into one of the most prestigious “parties” in the Northwest.
Held at the exclusive Broken Top Club in Bend, the Classic Feast on Saturday includes the gourmet cuisine of our celebrity chefs, hand-crafted ales from Deschutes Brewery, cuisine-friendly wines, and dancing to live music from top entertainers. Friday’s golf tournament features a field of 52 foursomes competing for cash and prizes in an 18-hole best ball event.
The Sagebrush Classic annually benefits numerous charities serving children and families in Central Oregon and has distributed more than $2 million since its inception.
Celebrity Chefs: Eighteen highly acclaimed chefs from across the country and around the globe come all the way to Bend just for this event. Many of these chefs have been featured in programs on the Food Network, are James Beard Award winners, have been touted in Bon Appetit and Gourmet magazines, and are stars in the culinary world.
